"Delicious and worth the price. I was very impressed :) My favorite dishes were the shrimp and uni — sweet, fragrant, and very fresh with a great texture. Even though the portions looked small, they were very filling. I could barely finish everything."

"My dining experience started slowly. The appetizers were not perfect, but the meal improved. The seafood and meat courses were truly outstanding! They used aged meat for up to 75 days to enhance the umami. The dishes arrived quickly. Overall, a great meal for fine dining!"

"We had a good time dining at Friend's Table, running by Chef Nick on the day. The foods was well prepared and served in order with little wait time after one another. Foods were refreshing, delicious, and using high quality ingredients. Every dish had a story and its inspiration was told to us by the waiter or chef. I personally enjoy the appetizers more than the main course or maybe got quite full . What had surprised and impressed me most was the "Somtam with Salt Egg", so creative and yum!"

"Intimate one room restaurant with an open-plan kitchen and a dozen or so seats. Playful, creative food with mostly local/Japanese ingredients, classic techniques, and very strong flavours. Quite maximalist / more-is-more, but I think that’s the point? Recommended if you want something slightly different from the norm."

"Dinner at this intimate and luxurious Japanese inspired Thai Chef’s table was a highlight of our 60 days tour of SE Asia. The complexity and precision of the cooking is as good as any Michelin starred restaurant can achieve, with flavoursome ingredients professionally presented and served with detailed explanation. The wine list offers a good range of quality and value. Overall this was an intellectually engaging pleasure of the senses."

"Exceptional experience. The food was phenomenal, with a great selection of different flavours and influences within each dish. All was delicious, but the River Prawn really stood out to me. The service was great and to see such talented chefs close-up in action was a treat. Could not recommend more! (Pre-booking a taxi to and from the venue via a ride hailing app is advisable)"
